Principal's Message

Dear parents and carers

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits as we step into the exciting journey of Term 4 It is with great pleasure that I extend a warm and positive welcome to all students, parents, and staff, as we embark on this new and final chapter of the school year.

First and foremost, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the St. Philomena's Parent & Friends Association for their unwavering dedication and hard work in organizing the annual Spring Fair. It was indeed a tremendous success, raising considerable funds that will significantly enhance the physical learning and playing conditions of our beloved students. Your commitment to our school community is truly commendable, and we are immensely grateful for your ongoing support.

I am delighted to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our P&F and the broader school community, we have finally completed the long-anticipated refurbishment of our multi-court and the construction of a brand new two-bay turf cricket nets. This project has been nearly three years in the making, marked by the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and two unexpected floods. It will undoubtedly enrich the sporting experiences of our students and provide them with valuable opportunities for growth and development.

As a token of our appreciation for your continuous support, I invite all parents to join us at the upcoming P&F Parent Appreciation Evening, which will take place on Friday 3rd November at the Town and Country Club. Please RSVP to bennkim@bigpond.com by Monday 30 October.

This evening has been organized to express our heartfelt thanks to our parents for their unwavering dedication towards St. Philomena's. We would be thrilled to see both our existing and new parents for 2024 come together for this special occasion.

With the promise of an exciting Term 4 full of growth and possibility, let us continue our journey of nurturing young minds and fostering a supportive community. I have no doubt that together, we can achieve great things and provide our students with an exceptional educational experience.

In closing, I offer a final blessing with a short prayer:

"May God's grace guide us on this path we tread, With gratitude in our hearts, and blessings on our head. For the love we share, the work we do, In faith, we trust, and in Him, we renew. God bless you all."

Wishing you a truly blessed and enriching Term 4.

God bless,
