Report

Its been an exciting week at our school with students participating in Youth Week and a number of activities that are engaging our students.  

A big thank you to Ms Anderson, Ms Douglas and Miss Van De Wetering in organising a spectacular week, in particular the reverse dress up day where students dressed up as teachers and teachers dressed up as students.  I have never seen so many ‘mini me’s’. One of my favourites was Bastian Nordennen, see pictured ……………I thought I had more hair but I do love Kylie’s hedgehog!!

Year 12 

As Term 3 comes to an end, I want to acknowledge our Year 12 Students. Friday 13th October is the Year 12s last day, a Whole School Assembly will run during 1B on this day to wish them all the best and celebrate their journey at Wedderburn College. 

A friendly reminder to all our Year 12 students that this is the time not to relax but to decline that extra shift at their part time job, forego the social event on the weekend and give your phone to mum, dad or carer and really ‘double down’ on your studies. 

All our community are invited to attend the Year 12s last Whole School Assembly.

After School Basketball – Returning Term 4

Week 3 

Wednesday 18/10 – Yr 5 to 12 – 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Thursday  19/10 – Aussie Hoops - Foundation to Yr 4 – 3.30pm to 4.15pm.

All students who participate will receive a basketball and drink bottle that they are expected to bring to every session.

Uniform – Hats 

Just a reminder that in Terms 1 and 4 students require to wear a hat at recess and lunchtime. Hats must have a school logo on them and can be a bucket or broad brim hat. These can be purchased from the uniform shop or the front office are $15 each.
