Message from Leadership

As we move towards the second half of Term 3, our students continue to engage in many exciting opportunities across the school.
As you know last week, we celebrated Book Week last Friday and had our book week parade after Grade 3/4 assembly.
Hats
As we move into spring, UV levels are rising again. From Monday, September 1, all students will be required to wear their school hat when outdoors during playtimes, sports and other activities.
We follow the SunSmart guidelines to keep our students safe and healthy. A hat is an essential part of our uniform from September through to the end of April each year.
Please check that your child’s hat is clearly named and ready for use. If you need to purchase a new one, they are available at Hip pocket in Castlemaine.
Thank you for supporting our efforts to promote safe sun habits.
2026 enrolments
It’s that exciting time again when we begin welcoming enquiries for our 2026 Prep class.
If your child will be turning five by 30 April 2026, they are eligible to start school in Prep in January. Enrolment forms are now available from our school office or via our website.
Please help us spread the word! If you know a family with a child starting school in 2026, encourage them to get in touch or make an enquiry on our website here.
Book Fair
A big thank you to all the families who supported our Book Fair this year. The funds raised have been used to purchase a full class set of novels for our English program. These books will benefit not only our current students but also many cohorts in the years to come.
Special Events coming up
We warmly invite all dads, grandfathers and father figures to our Father’s Day Breakfast on Monday 8 September at 7:30am followed by the F/1/2 Class Assembly.
On the 12th of September, we will come together as a school community for a Whole School Mass at 9:15am for our school feast, the Holy Name of Mary. All are welcome.
Wishing you all a safe and joyful week ahead.
Kind Regards,
Anushka Vaz
