SAKG- Year 5/6
During our gardening sessions, we've been organising the garden, watering, planting seeds and seedlings, and maintaining the compost. Emma from Landcare assisted us in identifying and removing weeds, observing their growth and how they spread, and checking if they support any pollinators.
We are also continuing our culinary journey around the world, exploring dishes from the Middle East, Italy, and Greece. Some of the meals we've prepared include spanakopita, Greek salad, tiganites, stuffed capsicums, Moroccan carrot salad, falafel, tagine with dates and honey, flatbread, pumpkin and feta pizza, gnocchi with butter sage sauce, zucchini salad, and rhubarb muffins.
