STEM

Another busy few weeks in the STEM classroom as we hurtle towards the end of the year - it's hard to believe Christmas will be here before we know it!

Preps have been doing some Science investigations designing and building boats and exploring static electricity using balloons. We have had both success and failure during these investigations, and it is awesome to hear the positive language that surround both these outcomes in Prep!

The 1/2s have been furthering their coding skills using a program involving Lego and it's been great to see the collaborative learning taking place each week. 

The 3/4s and 5/6s have been becoming really competent using our minicomputers, the micro: bits, and watching them program these with advanced functions has been fabulous - we definitely have some future programmers in our midst!
