Christmas Appeal 2024

Just a reminder that we will be collecting items for the St. Merkorious Charity Christmas Appeal. We are asking students to bring in items on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd December, Week 8. Let’s make this special time of year, special for everyone! 

St Martha’s Christmas Concert 

This year David Enever will be leading our students with our Christmas Concert. This will be held on Monday 9th December, with students being asked to arrive and assemble on morning line up lines at 5.15pm. The concert will begin at 5.30pm in the Church. More information will be shared in the coming weeks. 

Students have started learning their songs and actions in class and we can’t wait to celebrate this season with you all. 

1 Blue Religious Education Lesson

Last week I was able to visit 1 Blue to see their Religious Education lesson. They were learning about the Annunciation through storytelling and reflecting on times that they felt scared and how Mary might have felt. I was so impressed by their reflections and their questioning. Keep up the great learning Year 1.
