Diamond Valley College Students Shine at Diamond Creek East Fete
On Saturday, October 26th, the Diamond Creek East Fete became a vibrant showcase of local talent. A special thank you to the contribution by students from Diamond Valley College. The event was a success, featuring a variety of acts that showcased the diverse musical skills of our students.
One of the highlights of the day was the Diamond Valley College Drumline wowing the audience with their electrifying performance. Their rhythmic precision and dynamic energy brought an exciting atmosphere to the opening of the fete. The Drumline's hard work and commitment were evident as they showcased their skills and enthusiasm.
In addition to the Drumline was the debut performance of our very own student rock band. After weeks of hard work and dedication, these young musicians took to the stage with enthusiasm and energy. Their strong passion for music was evident, and their debut was a proud moment for the band and the college community.
Soloist Ayla Coxford also took center stage, enchanting the audience with her soulful voice and emotive performance. Ayla’s ability to connect with her listeners made her performance truly memorable.
The involvement of our students in the Diamond Creek East Fete exemplifies the spirit of creativity and community that defines Diamond Valley College. We are incredibly proud of all the performers for their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing even more exciting performances in the future.
A big thank you to the teachers, staff, and parents who supported our students in their preparations for the event. Your encouragement and guidance are invaluable to their success!
Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming performances and events as our students continue to shine both on and off the stage!
We also had a number of staff and students running a handballing competition. Each person who was able to successfully handball the footy through the bulls eye received a prize.

Research Primary visit
Last Wednesday, we went to Research Primary for a leadership day. We spent the day with their grade 5’s, doing lots of games and leadership activities. Some of the games we played with them were, the Grid Game, Chuck the Chicken, Guess the Leader, Tallest Tower, the Aardvark Game, and many more.
Two of their students took us for a tour of their school at recess, and then some grade 1’s invited us to play gaga ball with them. Overall, the day was really fun, and I think the grade 5’s had heaps of fun as well.

Wattle Glen Primary School Footy Clinic
On September 19th, several of our Sports Academy students visited Wattle Glen Primary School to host an engaging AFL clinic for students from Prep to Grade 6. The Sports Academy students led stations focusing on key skills such as kicking, handballing, marking, and tackling. This experience not only helped our students further develop their leadership and coaching skills, but also allowed them to be positive role models for younger students, while strengthening our school's commitment to community involvement.
