Uniform Reminders
Below are some timely reminders regarding school uniforms:
- All students should by now be wearing the Summer school uniform.
- All Rugby Jumpers and Sport Shorts that have a white stitched logo are no longer to be worn. The Uniform Shop is well stocked with the updated version of these items if you need to purchase a replacement.
- If you would like the Uniform Shop to sell your used uniform items on your behalf, they must be clean and in resaleable condition. Blazers are to be dry cleaned before they are sold.
If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me at uniforms@kings.vic.edu.au

Walk / Ride to School Day
On the morning of Friday 25th October, King's College is participating in Walk / Ride to School Day. This is part of the Healthy Moves program which encourages students to engage in physical activity to start their day and help them arrive at School alert.
Students and families that can’t walk the whole way are being encouraged to walk part of the way – such as parking the car a few blocks from school and walking, riding or scooting the rest.
We will have Barista Coffee available in the Pentagon on the morning for any adults that have accompanied a student to school.
Mr Wakim and Mrs McLeod will collect the names of students who are participating which will then go into a draw for two gift vouchers (one for Senior & one for Junior) courtesy of Bendigo Bank.

Warrnambool Food Drive
King’s College is excited to be participating in the Western District Foodshare 2024 Warrnambool Food Drive. We currently have Food Share bins around the school, which the VCE VM students are collecting items from and delivering to Western District Foodshare once a fortnight.
You can help out by donating non-perishable food items to our Food Share bins and/or help with the Food Drive on October 27th and November 3rd.
On October 27th, our Food Drive volunteers will be meeting at the Warrnambool Arc Stadium Carpark at 2pm and walking around the area distributing Food Share bags. The following week on November 3rd, we will collect the bags and drop them off at the Warrnambool Baptist Church in Koroit Street. Even if you can only do one of these dates we would love to see you there.
Groups of 4-5 people are a great number to aim for if you’d like to get some people together for this. If you don’t have a group you can just turn up on the day and be placed in one. It’s a lovely way to help out those who struggle with meeting day to day basic needs like putting food on the table for their family, especially coming up to the Christmas season.
