Do you know a child who has a special talent or needs support in their educational journey? 

The Variety Scholarships Program is dedicated to empowering children living with disabilities or facing disadvantage to reach their full potential in the arts, sports, and education. We offer two types of scholarships:

Variety Heart Scholarships support talented children in the arts and sports.  Scholarships of up to $5,000 per year are available to eligible Victorian children who demonstrate a talent in these areas and are living with a disability, chronic illness, or financial hardship. These funds help them progress to the next stage of their development.

Variety Educational Scholarships are designed to help eligible Victorian children with essential educational needs, such as supplies or assistive technology, supporting kids to thrive in their studies. Applications can be submitted by a parent, carer, or another support person, such as a medical professional, caseworker, or teacher. Scholarships provide up to $500 for primary school supplies, and up to $1,000 for secondary school or TAFE students, covering expenses like books, uniforms, camps, and excursions. We also offer funding for assistive technology and approved laptops.

Parents, teachers or carers can apply on behalf of the child. 

Applications for both Variety Heart and Educational Scholarships are open now and close 1 November 2024.
