2/3 Barwon Water Incursion

Mackenzie T, Hudson M and Dempsey Cockram in 2/3BR during inquiry organised an incursion for our 2/3 students. We were luck enough to have Barwon Water come in and teach us all about using water properly, how important water is ‘Water Matters’ and how easy it can be in everyday life to use large amounts of water. Thank you to those students involved in organising this great incursion for those students!

Veggie Patch Update

Bunnings have been back!! With kindness, Bunnings donated a range of veggies to brighten up our bare veggie patches last Thursday. Along with a group of students Molly and Tarnia came in & helped us plant them, if you head up to the veggie patches you will see some carrots, celery, thyme, strawberries and much more! Over the next 8 weeks we will watch these veggies grow with the help of our summer sun on the way.

A big thank you to Bunnings for their generosity with the fairy garden and now veggies! The Ceres PS staff and students are beyond grateful.

5/6 Safe Journeys Excursion

Grade 5/6 had an incredible time at the Melbourne Museum, participating in the Safe Journeys program! The day was packed with engaging activities, including immersive VR experiences that gave students a firsthand look at the importance of road safety. They also took part in interactive workshops, learning key road safety rules and tips to stay safe on the roads. To top it off, students worked in small groups to create their very own road safety advertisements, showcasing their creativity and understanding of what makes a safe journey. It was a fun and educational day that reinforced important life skills!
