I can share my opinion about the topic

I can use powerful words to persuade my audience. (modal verbs, adjectives)

VOCABULARY

Persuasive : Expresses an opinion and tries to convince other people to join that opinion.

Opinion : A person's thoughts or feelings about something

Repetition : Where the author repeats words for emphasis

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Students to think about their opinions to:

-favourite food

-best pet

-time they should go to bed

Students think of strong reasons and use repetition.

Example: 

You should really really let me stay up until 9pm because my favourite show is playing.

You must agree pizza is very very nice because the cheesy tomato taste is the best.
