We are excited to be showcasing our Year 5 Entrepreneurship Program for Year 5 parents. The program will include escape room puzzles on Friday 22 November. Further information will be communicated from the Year 5 teaching team.
End of Year Class Parties
Primary classes will have their end of year celebrations on Tuesday 26 November. Please look out for communications from your child’s classroom teacher with further details.
Final Day Arrangements
School will finish for the year for all students (Pre-Prep to Year 11), on Thursday 28 November at 12:50pm.
Pre-Prep to Year 6 parents attending the Primary Presentation are welcome to take their child/ren at the conclusion of the event at approximately 11:00am, with notification to their teacher.
Remaining students will stay with their teachers with the following arrangements:
Please refer to communication emailed on Thursday 31 October from Mrs Miranda Cavaliere - Teaching and Learning Office, regarding 2025 Student Resources and Textbooks.
If you have not already done so, please ensure you have referred to the communication emailed Wednesday 16 October. The email contained information and requirements regarding Speech Night rehearsal on Monday 11 November, and the attendance for Year 6 continuing students.
As we plan for the 2025 school year, the class teachers will be organising class placements. Much time and effort will be placed into these decisions, with the teacher’s knowledge of friendships and how their students work best in the classroom. Considerations are also made on new students to the College and student learning needs across the cohort, to support a balanced class in all areas.
We appreciate your trust in our expertise in forming our classes, which are prepared with thorough review and discussion with the Primary Teaching Staff. Whilst we understand parents may have requests for specific teachers or peer groups, this is not our process and would appreciate your understanding. Classes will be shared with our families in the new year, ahead of the 2025 school year. If you have any questions or concerns with this, please contact Mrs Fellowes.
BRAINways Education, in collaboration with Central Queensland University, invites gifted and talented students from Brisbane schools to join the 2025 Summer Camp program. Following the success of previous years, this engaging two-day camp returns with a choice of exciting topics for students in Years 2 to 7.
The camp provides students with the opportunity to select their preferred topics for deeper exploration. Additionally, for those students eager to dive deeper, an extension course will be available for a more in-depth study over three weeks. Please see program and further details via the link below.
