Shrove Tuesday

Next Tuesday 13 February is Shrove Tuesday. The Parent's Association is kindly cooking a pancake for each child. If your child has allergies please let Rachel Jeffress and your class teacher know.

Ash Wednesday Mass

On Ash Wednesday, many Christians receive a cross of ashes on their foreheads. This powerful sign shows everybody that we are not perfect but are sorry and wish to be better.

During the season of Lent we are encouraged to do three things; give to the poor, pray to God, and fast. People did these things in the time of Jesus. We focus with the children on what will they do to come closer to God during the season of Lent.

Next week on Wednesday 14th Feb is Ash Wednesday. We will be joining the Parish Mass at 9.15am. All parents are warmly welcomed to attend.

Beginning of School Year Mass

Friday 9th February is our beginning of school year mass. Everyone is warmly welcomed. Mass is at 9.15am at St Bede's Church.

First Eucharist Commitment Mass

Our Grade 4 children will commence their preparations for their First Eucharist this term. The Commitment Masses for  First Eucharist  are on Saturday 24 February at 6pm or Sunday 25 February at 11am. Families just need to choose one mass to attend with their child.
