From the Principal

Week 2 Term 1 2024

Dear Parents and Carers.

Being Safe  Being Repectful and Being Resilient. This is who we are and how we act at St Bedes'.  These three statements are the motto of our Positive Behaviours for Learning program.  At last weeks assembly I spoke to the children about what Respect is, and how it is important that we repect everyone.

The children provided examples of what repect is. These included:

  • Listening and looking at each other when someone is talking
  • Not distracting someone from learning
  • Say Hi when you walk past people.

I mentioned to the students that I would provide a reward if all the teachers said that their classes where being repectful from one assembly to another.  I am sure I will have to provide the reward!!!

School assemblies will be held throughout the school year. Assemblies will be held every second Friday afternoon at 2:30pm in the school hall.  Each class will have the opportunity to lead the school in assembly and share their learning throughout the year.  We welcome families to join us at St.Bedes' for school assemblies.
