Celebrating and Connecting

At the start of the academic year, our Year 12 and Year 7 students participated in a heartwarming Welcome to Country ceremony, where they learned about Indigenous culture and the significance of the land on which our college stands. This experience was a powerful reminder of the values of respect, community, and understanding that we hold dear at Cheltenham SC. We are proud to foster an inclusive environment where all cultures are celebrated and embraced.

New School Uniform

We are excited to see our new school uniform being worn by our new students and many across all year levels, which has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from students and staff alike. The fresh look of the uniform reflects the vibrant spirit of our school community and honours our college's culture and values. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Rory Hall and all members of the school council for their leadership and dedication throughout the uniform review process. We kindly remind parents to support the college by ensuring that students wear the uniform correctly and with pride, as it represents our school and the community we live in.

Study habits and creating a positive workspace

As we settle into the new school year, it is essential to emphasise the importance of creating a positive work environment and cultivating effective study habits. Encourage your child to designate a quiet, well-lit space at home where they can focus on their studies free from distractions. Establishing a routine and setting realistic goals can also help them stay organised and motivated. Additionally, remind your child to take regular breaks, stay hydrated, exercise and get plenty of rest to maintain their overall wellbeing. By fostering a supportive home environment and instilling good study habits, we can empower our students to excel academically and reach their full potential.

We look forward to a successful and rewarding year ahead, filled with learning, growth, and memorable experiences for all our students. Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education.

Warm regards
