We are learning to write a Recount.

VOCABULARY

Recount: Retelling something that has happened or something you have done. 

Express: To make known your writing ideas.

Critique: Careful judgment or opinion of the writing piece

Improve: to make changes that make the work even better

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Students could write a list of memories of things they have experienced to use as ideas for recounts

Students could choose from one of the below topics and practice writing a recount making sure they are including who, what, where and when.
