Assessment Plans Available to Students and Parents

Students and parents of Year 10, 11, and 12 students can access the Assessment Plans with due dates for assessment tasks for the year. This will assist families in their planning, and in supporting your daughter around the time of her assessments. Students are encouraged to speak with their class teachers if they have any concerns about their assessment tasks.

NAPLAN Online 2025 – test dates

Students in Years 7 and 9 will sit the NAPLAN online tests between Wednesday 12 March and Monday 18 March 2025. Please ensure your student has PLUG IN earphones for the tests. These can be purchased inexpensively at stores such as Kmart. Bluetooth earphones, such as airpods are not suitable, as students may have difficulty connecting them and cause delays to all students sitting the tests.

The online test schedule at Caroline Chisholm College is as follows:

Equipment and preparation for the tests

All students will require PLUG IN earphones for the tests.

The NAPLAN locked-down browser has been installed on student laptops. We will check that the browser is installed and functioning during lessons at school.

Whether you’re working, learning, playing or scrolling – the internet is a huge part of life. It opens a world of opportunities, but also comes with risks, especially for young people and other at-risk groupsWhether you’re working, learning, playing or scrolling – the internet is a huge part of life. These tests should not be a source of concern for students or parents. English teachers will familiarise Year 7 students with NAPLAN browser tools and students will be able to practise using the tools at home. All students can see the types of questions and tools available in the online NAPLAN assessments at the public demonstration site.
