PTFA

Term 1 2025

We are now well into Term 1 and hope everyone is enjoying their year so far. The PTFA have been in full swing with events. Parents have had a chance to meet new parents and catch up with friends at the recent bowls nights held at Cheltenham Bowling club. It was a great night out, the weather was perfect to be outside enjoying a game of lawn bowls then sitting back and enjoying a relaxing time on the outside deck. We are now heading into the busy end of the term with events, some old and some new.

The first this week is the Second-hand Uniform Sale, get your uniforms for those that have outgrown their old uniform and be ready for the next season as we are now at the end of summer.

The next event is the Welcome Picnic on Friday 14th March, straight after school. All students and their families are invited, catch up with friends and meet some new parents. This year we will have a DJ ready to get the party started and we have a magician with entertainment for everyone. Unfortunately, the canteen will not be open.

On Sunday 16th March we have a new event for CPS, it will be the first time we hold a trash and treasure market. We will be running a bbq, cake stall and games area. We will also have a coffee van coming and some local sporting teams will be onsite with activities. However, for this event to be successful we need your help. The ways to help include

  1. Book a stall through Qkr!
  2. Volunteer to help out on the day with the BBQ, cake stall or games area – sign-up sheet at the office, if you are unable to come in to write your name, call the school office or email ptfapresidentcps@gmail.com
  3. Make, bake or buy something to contribute to the cake stall, these can be brought in to the office before hand or bring to school on the day.
  4. Donate goods to be sold or added to the lucky dip with proceeds going towards a year 6 recycling project, goods can be left in the foyer at school.

The event runs from 9am to 1pm and will be lots of fun so we encourage all to get involved. But that is not all for this term, we also have a hot cross bun sale with hot cross buns from Wallers Bakery and to finish the term we will also run the Easter raffle.

The PTFA welcomes all parents to join. We have monthly meetings with an invitation and details sent out via Compass.
