Leadership Roles & Responsibilities 2025
School Captains = 4 students
Organise and run assembly
Meet and greet visitors to the school when necessary - tours, etc.
Attend events outside the school
Represents the values of ETRPS
Sets an example for other students to follow
Demonstrates kindness
Leads by example
House Leaders - 2 per house = 8 students
Organise and run sporting events
Encourage house team members to participate in activities
Read house points/Sentral results at Assembly
Participate in every activity
Monitor borrowing equipment and lock roller door
SLC Representatives - 2 per class (1-6)
Attend SLC meetings
Discuss class issues/concerns at SLC meetings
Plan, organise and run special events/fundraisers
Report back to class after SLC meeting
Dog Squad Leaders - 2 per class (5/6)
Learn how to handle and care for the school dogs
Transition the dogs from classes depending on their timetable
Ensure the dogs are cared for: water, food, safety
Attend meetings
Watch Dogs Connect videos & teach other students important things about the dogs
Newsletter reports & reports at Assembly
ICT Leaders - 2 per class (5/6)
Ensure Macbook trolley is neat & tidy
Ensure Macbooks are charging and trolley is locked each day
Assist students who need help with Macbooks
Assist at Assembly to run the whole-school slideshow
Cultural Leaders
Attend local community events
Promote variety of cultures through activities at school
