Second hand uniform stall - 25th February
The Karoo Parents Association (KPA) will be running a second hand uniform stall on Tuesday 25th February from 2.45 pm to roughly 7.00 pm to coincide with the parent-teacher Getting to Know You interviews on site at the school.
- Bring along your cash and stock up on bargains.
- School bags and windbreakers are $5, all other uniform items cost a single gold coin each.
- Purchases of $10 or more can be paid for by card at the office up to 5:00pm.
Second hand uniform donations
Thank you to all those who have donated clean second hand uniform items in good repair. We especially appreciate those parents who have taken the time to sort items by size as it saves us a lot of time. Now is a great time to bring your donations into the school office so we can get them ready for the upcoming second hand uniform stall.
We are unable to sell the following:
Significantly damaged uniforms
A few pulled stitches from a seam can potentially be overlooked or fixed by the purchaser but if there are holes in the fabric, please throw it in the bin.
Non-Karoo uniform items
A pair of bottle green tracksuit pants is a pair of bottle green tracksuit pants regardless of brand but we cannot sell a yellow polo top or a bottle green jacket that doesn’t carry the Karoo logo as they do not meet Karoo uniform policy. The Salvos store in Rowville is happy to accept these items.
Lost Property
Lost Property has moved to Room 22 (one of the portables). There is a large amount of lost property remaining from last year. This will be displayed in a visible location during parent-teacher Getting to Know You interviews on Tuesday 25 February. This will be the last opportunity to collect lost property from last year before it is disposed of.
To minimise the amount of items going to lost property, please label all personal items that go to school on or with your child to enable them to be returned directly to your child if found around the school. If you can’t include your child’s full name, we suggest using their first name and last initial or first initial and last name.
