Greetings Karoo-ians,

The Media and Digital Technology program at Karoo School is back in full swing, and our students are more excited than ever to dive into this year’s creative projects! From photography and filmmaking to animation, podcasting, and beyond, the kids are eager to continue developing their skills in these areas and explore new possibilities in the world of digital media.

This year, we’re especially excited to introduce our Year 6 Media Captains: Darcy, Mason, Olivia, and Samreen. These talented students will take the lead in the highly anticipated new season of Karoo's Got News project, where they’ll help produce content for the entire school community. Whether it’s filming, editing, writing, or presenting, the Media Captains are ready to put their creativity to work!

With a keen passion for all things media, they are enthusiastic about getting started and are sure to bring fresh ideas and energy to the program. We can’t wait to see how Darcey, Mason, Olivia, and Samreen and their Tech Team will help showcase the talents and stories of the Karoo School community this year.
