What's making news this fortnight

Welcome back!

What a great start to the school year we have had.  it's been so exciting to have our new campus open and both the Senior and Junior students and staff are enjoying their new learning and play spaces.

This year we have had a number of staff join us from near and far.  Read further on in this newsletter to learn a bit more about them.

School Council elections and meeting dates

Our first school council meeting for the year will be on Monday 24th February

at the Junior Campus at 6 pm.  This will be the last meeting of the current council and our AGM will be held on Monday 24th March.

If you are thinking about joining school council you are welcome to come along to see what it is all about.  If you are thinking of nominating for school ciouncil, please give me a ring to have a chat about it.

Nomination forms are attached to this newsletter and are available from each campuses main office.

New school uniform

Navy polos and hats with our new Banmira logo are now in-stock & available from The School Uniform Shop - 183 Corio St, Shepparton. If you have already purchased your navy polos, a logo can also be applied in-store for $5. Don’t forget – all families should now have an email from the Department of Education with the $400 School Saving Bonus voucher, which can be used to spend on uniforms.

School communications

We use the Seesaw App for easy communication between the classroom and student families.  If you haven’t used Seesaw before, a QR Code will be sent home by the classroom teacher for you to easily connect with the teacher once you have downloaded the Seesaw app. You will also receive our school newsletter via Seesaw to stay up to date with all the latest important news and events.
