Supporting students to achieve academically...
We have been excited to see lots of learning happening in classes over the last fortnight. From nursery rhymes in Prep to The Wizard of Oz in Year 6, all classes have begun exploring wonderful stories in English. Whilst English is often the subject that captures everyone's attention, students at SMPS do many more subjects. Each child participates in:
- Literacy and English - These subjects include phonics, fluency, handwriting, vocabulary, grammar, and more!
- Maths
- Science
- Humanities - This includes history, geography, civics and citizenship, economics and business
- Personal and Social
- Health and Physical Education
- Environmental Education
- Visual Arts
- Performing Arts - This includes music, dance and drama
