Beginning of the Year Liturgy
We will be holding our beginning of the year liturgy at 10am on Friday 28th of February in the church. During the liturgy the Preps will receive the buddy blessing from their Grade 6 buddies. All are welcome to attend.
Prayer Gathering
Our regular Friday morning Prayer Gatherings will begin on Friday the 7th of March, led by our Grade 6 students. During this Prayer Gathering our new school leaders will receive their badges. Once again, all welcome!
Prayer Gathering Etiquette
We are lucky to be located so close to our beautiful church and be able to use it for our weekly Prayer Gatherings. A reminder that as we enter the church, we are trying to create a prayerful and sacred space. We enter quietly and take a seat. You are welcome to sit anywhere but generally the classes will take up the majority of the front sections of the church. Food and beverages should not be brought into the church. Mobile phones should be off or switched to silent. At the end of Prayer Gathering it is appropriate to clap when prompted, however we refrain from clapping during the prayer time (eg. after a song). Parents are most welcome to stay and chat to each other after Prayer Gathering in the foyer or car park. All are welcome and the children love to see you there!
Parent Sacramental Meeting
There will be a parent meeting for families wishing for their children to undertake the sacramental program this year. This meeting is for both Reconciliation and Eucharist/Confirmation. It will be held on March 13th in the church foyer at 4pm and 7pm. If you intend for your child or children to undertake any of the sacraments this year, then you will need to attend one of these two meetings to register and receive the relevant information.
An enrolment form will be sent home for the Sacramental Program tomorrow. If you could please return via email your interest to Mandy at the Presbytery, that would be very appreciated.
