At St Kilda Park Primary School, we believe school should be more than just lessons in the classroom. It’s about creating a vibrant, connected community where everyone—students, parents, and staff—works together to build a school culture that fosters growth, creativity, and fun. A big part of making this happen is the hard work of our Fundraising Subcommittee, and we want YOU to get involved!

What We Do: Fun Events that Raise Important Funds

The Fundraising Subcommittee is made up of a dedicated group of parents and staff who organise a variety of exciting events throughout the school year. These events are not only designed to be lots of fun but also to raise the important funds that allow us to offer our students a rich and diverse education.

By participating in these events, you’re helping to fund activities that enrich our students' experiences, this year the funds raised will go towards classroom technology upgrades and improvements to our learning spaces. Every bit of support makes a big difference, and the funds raised are essential to creating a school environment that encourages learning, growth, and joy.

Our Big Events Coming Up:

We’ve got some exciting events lined up for the remainder of the year that we want to share with you—and we are putting a call out for parents and carers who are interested in getting involved and helping us to make them huge successes!

• Our First Ever School Disco! - Thursday, May 1st at the St Kilda Town Hall. This is going to be a night to remember! We’ve secured the beautiful St Kilda Town Hall for our inaugural school disco, and we’re making it an unforgettable experience for all of our students. Think DJs, colourful lights, dancing, games, and plenty of giveaways! We’ll be holding separate sessions for our younger, middle school, and older students, ensuring each group has a blast. It’s the perfect opportunity for students to come together, have fun, and show off their best dance moves. This event is the major focus for our committee at the moment, and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

   

• Parent Trivia Night - Get ready to put your knowledge to the test with a fun-filled trivia night later in the year! This will be a great opportunity for parents to bond, enjoy some friendly competition, and raise funds to support our school programs. Start brushing up on your trivia knowledge—you won’t want to miss this!

   

• Walkathon - Our Walkathon is a fantastic way for students and parents to get active while raising money for our school. It’s an event that brings our entire community together, walking in support of our school’s future.

   

• 2026 School Fete - We’re ready to start planning for next year’s school fete, which will be held at the very start of 2026! This major event will be a celebration of everything that makes St Kilda Park Primary School so special. With games, activities, food stalls, and entertainment, the school fete is one event you won’t want to miss.

How You Can Help: Join the Fundraising Subcommittee!

Our fundraising group will be meeting for the first time this year in the staffroom at school at 6pm on Monday 3rd March.

All parents and carers are welcome to come along - bring your ideas, creativity and imagination and we will embark on a fun year of events and fundraising for our great school.
