Grade 5 News

There has been some fantastic learning going on in the last 2 weeks within the Grade 5 area. The students are continuing to show a positive attitude to their learning which has been amazing to see.
In English we have been looking at expanding sentences to engage the reader and improve the quality of the sentences we can create. Our novel study ‘War Horse’ has helped expose us to new vocabulary we can use within our writing while learning about the history of World War 1.
In Numeracy, we have been looking at graphs and data, learning the important features of different graphs and understanding how to interpret the information that the graphs are giving us.
We look forward to meeting families at the Meet and Greet interviews in Week 6. If you have not yet booked an appointment with your child’s teacher, you can do this through PAM.
