Grade 4 News

Over the past two weeks, we have had a wealth of fantastic learning experiences in
Grade 4.
The students have demonstrated a strong and positive attitude towards their learning, which has been wonderful to see.
In Literacy, we've thoroughly enjoyed reading our class novel, Kensuke's Kingdom, allowing us to not only engage in an exciting story but also expand our vocabulary.
For Writing, we have been honing our persuasive writing skills, exploring how to effectively argue and convince an audience.
Your child may even be keen to practice these persuasion techniques at home!
In Mathematics, we’ve completed our unit on Addition and Subtraction, with a particular focus on algorithms for two, three and four-digit numbers. We have now transitioned into our Fractions unit, and it’s off to a strong start as students are grasping the concepts with enthusiasm.
It’s been an exciting and productive couple of weeks, and we’re looking forward to continuing this positive momentum!
We look forward to meeting families at the Meet and Greet interviews in Week 4 and 5.
If you have not yet booked an appointment with your child’s teacher, you can do this through PAM.
