Foundation News

Hello from the Foundation Team. 

Our Foundation students are getting the hang of the routine after just two weeks of school. They have been very settled and have enjoyed receiving their reader bags and reading diaries. We ask that the students bring these reader bags every day and get into the habit of placing them in their classes book bag tub by their classroom door. 

Thanks to everyone for coming in the past two Wednesdays for our meet and greet interviews and beginning of the year student screener. It was great discussing the students in our grades and getting to know their parents. This helps to build a great connection and support for what we do in the classroom with Foundation students. Students have three more rest Wednesdays until joining us full time after the Labour Day long weekend.

Each Thursday the Foundation classes get together to share awards, birthdays, news and the Bernie Trophy. Congratulations to last week's award winners and Foundation Lancaster for winning the Bernie Trophy
