2025 Victorian Schools Mountain Bike Series
What an incredible series! Across seven challenging courses, riders were pushed to their limits with tracks that offered something for everyone — from technical climbs to fast-flowing descents. There were plenty of spills and thrills along the way, but our students showed great resilience and spirit throughout.
Congratulations to Tom. R, Jacob. I, Kale’a. S, Ed. N and Ben. M for proudly representing our school across the series. Whether taking on one course or several, each rider gave their best and made a fantastic contribution to the team.
Year 3/4 Tennis Discovery Day
A huge thank you to Max and Erik from the Victorian Tennis Academy (Fawkner Park Tennis Centre) for coordinating a fantastic Tennis Discovery Day with our Year 3 and 4 students. The day aimed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and new skill development, and it certainly delivered!
Our students showed an outstanding level of enthusiasm and engagement, giving every activity a go and enjoying the chance to build their tennis skills while being active outdoors. The energy, smiles, and teamwork on display made the day a wonderful success.
If your child is interested in giving tennis a go next term, please reach out to the Victorian Tennis Academy for more information.
Year 5/6 Baseball/Tee ball Clinic
A big thank you to the St Kilda Baseball Club for running an outstanding clinic with our Year 5/6 students. The session gave students the chance to build their skills in batting, throwing, and catching, with expert tips and fun activities that kept everyone engaged.
Our Year 5/6 students showed incredible enthusiasm, respect, and gratitude throughout the clinic. It was fantastic to see them give their best effort, support one another, and make the most of this opportunity to learn from experienced coaches.
We are very grateful to St Kilda Baseball Club for their time and generosity in sharing their knowledge and passion for the game.
District Athletics Success
Last term our athletics team gave it their all at the District Athletics Carnival, competing with determination and pride across a wide range of track and field events.
