Reconciliation

Congratulations to our Year 3 students who made their First Reconciliation last week. There were two lovely and reverent ceremonies. We thank Fr. Dispin for all of his efforts. A special mention to our Year 3 teachers who prepared our students so well for this sacrament.

On Wednesday I was reconciled. First, we went into the church and got to answer questions about the Forgiving Father story and about sin. Then, we stood up and sang Gather As One. After, Archer did Archery, because the priest was trying to show us that we don't always hit the target. (Gwen)

Father Dispin told everyone that 'sin' comes from the Greek word 'hamartia', which means 'missing the mark'. (Liam).
