World Teachers Day

Today we celebrate World Teachers Day: A special occasion to recognise and thank our incredible teachers for the passion, care, and dedication they bring to our classrooms every single day.

Sometimes in the busyness of life and school we forget to thank our teachers for their work. For most of the day, they play the role of: educator, counsellor, confidante, coach, mentor, nurse, referee, mediator, therapist, detective, peacemaker, entertainer, and even Director of Lost Property.

So let’s celebrate our teachers and thank them for all the work they do to educate, inspire and empower our children.

It's time to tip our hats to the incredible educators who shape our future. And if you get the chance a little, thank you message wouldn't go astray.

They have added a Mexican Inspired Salad with Corn Chips and Tortellini Pasta Salad to our main course selection - perfect for the warmer months. Also, the Simple Salad Roll is back due to popular demand! The subsequent courses now include a Raspberry Jelly Cup and a Bag of Grapes, to take advantage of the seasonal produce.

Swimming

Our swimming program commences next week! Full details are available via Operoo.

The swimming program offers more than just time in the water. It’s a valuable opportunity for students to participate alongside their classmates, build independence, and develop confidence in a group setting. These shared experiences contribute meaningfully to students’ social and emotional growth as well as their sense of belonging at school.

There will be lots of timetable changes over the next two weeks, so please keep an eye on Class Dojo and classroom messages from your teachers to stay up to date.

Teaching Placements

Next week, Miss Olivia Anderson and Miss Letitia Hyde will commence their final three-week teaching placements at their respective schools for 2025. We wish them every success as they embark on this important stage of their teaching journey and look forward to hearing about their experiences upon their return.

Year Prep 2026 Transition

On Monday, we had our first Transition session for our Preps of 2026. There was lots of excitement and a few tears, yet all the children came out smiling and eager to show their parents what they had created.

It is always wonderful to welcome new families and re-acquaint with our existing families who have children commencing next year.

Our next Year Prep  2026 Transition session is on Wednesday 19th November commencing  2:00 pm - 3:15pm.

Fees and Levies 2025

Thank you to all families who are up-to-date with Fee and Levy payments for 2025. Unless payment plans have been set up, Fees and Levies are expected to be settled by the end of Term 3.

Families in arrears will be sent up-to-date Fee and Levy Statements  and , in fairness to all, we would appreciate accounts to be promptly settled.

Fees and Levies 2026

In regards to next year, please refer to the details below of changes in tuition fees for the 2026 academic year.

Any decision to adjust fees is never made lightly, nor without careful and thorough consideration of our students’ needs and our school’s capacity to provide an education experience that supports every student to flourish.  We are also cognisant of the financial pressures that many families have experienced this year.

Corpus Christi, too is facing increasing costs in multiple areas of school operations, including wages, insurance premiums,  regulatory and compliance costs, risk management, teacher resources and professional learning, and higher central system costs.

Our fees at Corpus Christi are also influenced by the Commonwealth Department of Education’s calculation of our community’s ability to financially contribute to the operating costs of our school, known as the Capacity to Contribute, or CTC, which is reviewed annually.

To ensure that we can continue to deliver a personalised, high-quality education that is responsive to the diverse interests and academic, social and emotional needs of our students, it is necessary to periodically review and adjust our fees.

As a result, Corpus Christi School's Fee structure for 2026 will be as follows:

  • Family Fee: $1800

    • Term 1 Instalment: $600 due by 2nd April 2026

    • Term 2 Instalment: $600 due by 26th July 2026

    • Term 3 Instalment: $600 due by 18th September 2026

  • Individual CurriculumLevy: $600

    • payable before 27th February, 2026

  • Capital Levy (Per family): $ 300

    • payable by 26th June 2026

This is an increase of $4.90 per week/52 weeks - on 2025 fees.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the fee increase, or wish to discuss your individual circumstances, please do not hesitate to contact me.  We remain committed to keeping tuition fees as low and affordable as possible, and to working closely with our community to make this transition as smooth as possible.
