2026 Staffing/Class Structures
There are a few slight changes to our staffing profile and class structures for 2026.
I would like to introduce a new staff member to our team Ms Michelle Berthet. Michelle will be teaching PE/Health and Sport while Steve E (Mr E) takes some well deserved leave.
In 2026 Ms Kathy McLaren will be leading the Mental Health in Primary School's initiative as our Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader (MHWL). The role of the MHWL is to build the capability of the whole school with regard to mental health and wellbeing (identification, promotion and prevention), provide support to staff to better identify and support students with mental health needs and establish clear pathways for referral for students requiring assessment and intervention, and monitor and evaluate student progress. We are excited about the opportunity to strengthen our wellbeing processes and support our students with their social/emotional growth through this initiative. Ms Mac will be in this role for 2 days a week.

End of year Farewell Message
As we reach the end of another school year, I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff, students and families for the hard work, and effort that has been demonstrated this year.
Our students have shown tremendous perseverance and curiosity, embracing challenges and celebrating successes both in and out of the classroom. From academic achievements to artistic performances, athletic events, and community projects, they continue to inspire us with their enthusiasm and commitment to learning. I am in awe of our staff who lead these projects and initiatives with tremendous positivity and energy.
As we look ahead to the summer break, I encourage all students to continue reading, exploring, and nurturing their curiosity. Rest, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends. We welcome you back at the end of January for another exciting year of learning.
To our year 6 graduating class of 2025 we are proud of you and wish you success in the next chapter of your journey.
We still have a week and a bit to go, however I thank you for a wonderful school year. I hope you have a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer break.
