Please advise the office if your P-Yr 5 child will not be continuing at HR next year. This helps us to organise class structures and staffing so your advance notice is much appreciated.

Holy Rosary/Vinnie’s Christmas Hampers - Share the Joy!

As we enter the Christmas season, Holy Rosary is once again taking part in our much-loved tradition of creating Christmas Hampers for families in need. 

You are invited to join us in supporting our parish Vinnie’s group, by donating festive food for the hampers.  The Kensington Vinnies volunteers will distribute the hampers to needy families in our neighbourhood.  This act of kindness will provide families, not only with some delicious food for the Christmas season, but also with a sense that someone cares.  

This special initiative is a wonderful way for our students to show kindness, and to share the joy of Christmas with others. We encourage parents to talk with their children about thoughtful ways to contribute, perhaps by doing extra jobs at home to earn money to buy a food item, or by giving up a ‘treat’ food and instead spending that money on something to donate to the hampers.

Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of others this Christmas. Thank you for helping to continue this meaningful school tradition of giving and community spirit.

Here’s what to do: 

1.    Purchase an item from the list below - please check expiry date

2.    Your child delivers it to their classroom (no need to wrap) by Friday 5th December.
