Ticket Information

When will my child perform? 

Each child will perform in two shows, on the same day: a matinee and an evening show. 

A, C, E – Wednesday 19th August – 12:00pm and 7:00pm 

• Students from home groups with the letter A, C, E (eg 1/2A or 3/4C) 

   

B, D, F – Thursday 20th August – 12:00pm and 7:00pm 

• Students from home groups with the letter B, D, F (eg FB or 5/6F)

NB Some students (predominantly 5/6s) switched home groups for the performance for logistical purposes. Affected students have been aware of this since last term, so check with your children or Sra. Karren if you’re not sure. 

How many tickets can I buy? 

Strict limit of 3 tickets per student,in total – across both shows, not per show 

Due to the large size of our school and the limited seating at Darebin Arts Centre, it is crucial that all families strictly adhere to the limit of 3 tickets per student in total – not per show!  

Examples: 

• 1 matinee ticket + 2 evening show tickets = 3 tickets in total 
• 0 matinee tickets + 3 evening show tickets = 3 tickets in total 

As a community, we all need to help each other by sticking to the 3 ticket limit per student 

If we don't, then other families will miss their children’s performance. 

Please help to spread the word in a respectful manner in any informal communication channels that you have with other families. 

The evening performances will be professionally filmed, so you can have a private viewing party with your whole family later on - so any people that miss the live show, can watch the recording.

When & how can I buy tickets? 

Tickets are expected to go on sale early in week 4. You will be notified via the newsletter and Sentral with a date and time soon. 

A link will be shared so that you can purchase tickets online or over the phone. 

Darebin Arts Centre manages ticket sales – not the school. 

Accessible seats must be booked by phone or email - they cannot be booked online. We will share these details in due course. 

How much do tickets cost? 

Matinee show: $32.50 

Evening show: $40.00 

Children over the age of 2 years old are required by the venue to have a paid ticket.  

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Ticket prices are the same regardless of age. 

Babies and children under the age of 2 years old, if seated on a ticket holder’s lap for the duration of the performance, will be admitted free of charge. 

Transaction Fee & Other Fees 

Darebin Arts Centre charges additional fees: 

• A transaction fee of $4.00 - $5.50depending on the sales channel (online vs over the phone).  
• Optional SMS/text ticket for 50c, where applicable.  
• Refund/Exchange Fee where applicable for $4.00.   

The advertised ticket cost also includes a small fee that goes to Darebin Arts Centre. The rest of the ticket cost goes towards the venue hire and buses.
