Semester One Exams

Semester One exams will take place for students in Year 11 from the 13-20th June. All students in Year 11 have been provided with their exam timetable and expectations for this week. For students in Years 9 and 10, exams will take place on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th June 2025. The Year 9 and 10 exam timetable and revision booklet has been placed on SIMON daily messages for both students and families.

Our Year 10 and 11 students will be familiar with the expectations of exams, however for our Year 9 students this is a new challenge. Preparing for exams requires organisation and a commitment to revision. In addition to study skills being completed as part of the pastoral program, undertaking additional study out of school time is necessary to consolidate learning completed during school time. Some tips to help include:

  • Creating a revision timetable to complement family, sport and part time work commitments.
  • Using colour coding of notes and mind maps.
  • Having a quiet space to study.
  • Using the help available – always ask your teacher for clarification of a concept.
  • Attend lunchtime and after school support.
  • Taking regular breaks – our brains can only take so much information at a time.
  • Making sure you have the correct equipment – pens, grey lead pencils, eraser, ruler and highlighters.

Semester One 2025 Reports

Semester One reports will be available via PAM on Friday 4th July 2025 for primary and secondary students. Ongoing feedback for secondary students is provided by class teachers when assessment tasks are completed. This can be viewed via PAM.
