Wellbeing

The Stand Up Project:

The Stand Up Project (SUP) is an award-winning program that reduces discrimination, harassment and bullying through student-designed and delivered Upstander Training. The program prioritises student voice, agency, and leadership.

Students learn about the bystander effect and the drivers and impacts of poor behaviour. They identify the most age-appropriate ways to support targets and address poor behaviours. Students then teach what they know to younger students, their teachers and families.

Yarning Circle:

For National Reconciliation week, the children came together to design their own clapsticks to eventually use. They explored traditional symbols to create stories on their sticks! The children really enjoyed this activity!

Word of the week!

It has been amazing hearing feedback from the children around having a word of the day. They seemed to have enjoyed it and have asked if it can continue! With this, I will be posting a work of the WEEK. This is to encourage the use of our local language within our school 🙂

Please use this when you can and encourage others to use it.
