School Wide Positive Behaviour Support

Victoria University Secondary College has been committed to implementing School-wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) for many years and remains dedicated to empowering our students through this well-established initiative.
SWPBS is a systems approach for establishing the social culture and individualised supports needed for all students to achieve both social and academic success.
It’s a redesign of the school's environment.
We are proud to announce that Victoria University Secondary College has achieved Silver level acknowledgement in the School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework!
After receiving Bronze level recognition in both 2022 and 2023, our continued commitment to building a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment has now been acknowledged at the Silver level.
This achievement means we have not only embedded consistent expectations across all areas of the college, but we have also strengthened our positive behaviour systems within classrooms to support every student’s wellbeing and success.
This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, the efforts of our students, and the incredible support from our families and wider school community.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we’re creating a school culture where students feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. Let’s continue to grow and celebrate positive behaviour together!
