Walk to School

Well done to all the staff and students who participated in our designated ‘Walk to School Day’ last Thursday. Police Officer Stephanie Ward and Mix FM met with the walkers at Colac Secondary College bus depot and offered plenty of valuable advice about using school crossings, crossing roads etc. Woolworths also donated plenty of fruit for the students to enjoy after the walk.

A big thank you to everyone who was involved.

Greater Western Region Cross Country

Well done to all the students who competed in the Greater Western Cross Country yesterday in Warrnambool. Thanks to our parents who assisted and supported the day.

Colac Division AFL Play

This Friday 30th May, our boys will be involved in the AFL Play Lightning Premiership at Colac Central Reserve. We are sending three teams to this event. Each team consists of 12 players. AFL Play is the new format of football (SSV no longer accepts teams of 15-18 players). Due to our large numbers (because we feel it is very important to give all students a go), we DO need parents to assist with coaching, team manager, umpiring etc on the day. We would also be very grateful to any secondary students who would be willing to umpire.  If you can help out on the day or have a teenager who is willing to umpire on this day, can you please indicate on PAM or contact Nicole Lynch. Thanks in advance for your help.

(Please complete Permission details on PAM for your child)

Colac Division Netball Lightening Premiership

The Netball Lightning Premiership will also take place this Friday 30th May at the Eastern Reserve. Due to the large amount of teams we have entered (so that all students who have trialled can participate), we do need parents to assist with coaching, team manager, umpiring etc on the day. We would also be very grateful to any secondary students who would be willing to umpire on this day. If you can help out on the day or have a teenager who is willing to umpire on this day, can you please indicate on PAM or contact Nicole Lynch.

Thanks in advance for your help.
