Term 2 has been a dynamic and engaging time for our students across all year levels. Our recent Parent-Teacher-Student Interviews (PTSI) offered a valuable opportunity to reflect on student growth and set meaningful goals for the remainder of the year.
Year 10 students have begun the Morrisby Career Discovery program, supporting them to identify interests, strengths and possible future pathways. Year 9 students ventured into the city for an exciting laneway experience, connecting curriculum with culture and community.
Across the term, students have also participated in a range of enriching excursions — including visits to the Holocaust Centre, local law courts, the Western Treatment Plant, and career expos — deepening their learning through real-world connections. Guest speakers and performances, such as the Big Band showcase, have further enhanced our co-curricular program.
Meanwhile, our dedicated staff have been working behind the scenes, preparing for the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and revitalising our Year 9 and 10 subject offerings to ensure a contemporary, relevant, and engaging learning program.
There’s a great sense of energy and purpose at Marian — and it’s a good time to be part of our learning community.
