Staff Farewells and Job Opportunities at SKiPPS

At the end of this term, we will be farewelling two much-loved members of our specialist teaching team.

Farewell Tom McKenzie

After ten incredible years at SKiPPS, our brilliant STEM Specialist, Tom McKenzie, will be finishing up at the end of this term. Tom and his young family are making the move to the Gold Coast after his partner recently secured a new role in Queensland. While we are so sad to see him go, we wish Tom and his family all the very best for this exciting new chapter. Tom’s contribution to our school over the past decade has been extraordinary, and he will be deeply missed by students, staff and families alike.

Farewell Tanya Sleeman

We will also be saying goodbye to Tanya Sleeman, our wonderful Performing Arts Specialist. Tanya joined the SKiPPS team just over a year ago and has brought her creativity, energy and warmth into every performance and classroom experience. Tanya is stepping away from school teaching to focus on her creative and business endeavours—and to pursue her first love of dance. We thank her for all she’s brought to our community and wish her success and fulfilment in her next adventure.
