School Production 16th October 2024
Good Morning Families,
Please read the following information carefully regarding the evening of the school production.
Wednesday 16th October
- Main Cast students for both the junior and senior shows are to arrive at Robert Blackwood Hall at 4.45pm in black pants, t-shirt and soft soled shoes. Class teachers will be there to sign in the students at the Robert Blackwood Hall foyer.
- We ask that main cast students
- Have their hair completely off their faces to assist with the microphones.
- Hair longer than shoulder length needs to either be in a very low ponytail or a ponytail that can go through the back of their hat.
- All other students are to arrive at RBH at 5.30pm in black pants, t-shirt and soft soled shoes. Students can be dropped off at the foyer of RBH (See below for directions to parents).
- Class teachers will be present to sign in their class. - Some students may need to wear their t-shirts backwards in the car until they reach the hall to protect their fins.
- Hair longer than shoulder length needs to either be in a very low ponytail or a ponytail that can go through the back of their hat.
- The auditorium will be open from 5.30pm for families to find their seats. The junior show commences at 6.00pm.
- We ask that students not wear makeup on the evening. Their hat/headpiece will serve as the ‘face’ of the sea creatures thus additional makeup is not required.
- Students will need to bring a clearly labelled drink bottle for the evening. No food is allowed in the auditorium so please do not send any with your child.
- Free parking is available in many zones at Monash University after 4pm, please be sure to read the parking signs carefully.
- At the conclusion of the production the students will be taken by their class teachers to change. Children can then be collected from the foyer, where they were dropped off at the beginning of the night.
- Please ensure that the class teacher knows you are taking your child as they will need to mark them off the roll before leaving.
- Photography or videoing is not permitted in the auditorium. We have arranged for the production to be professionally recorded and families will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of the performance. Details for this will come separately.
Thursday 17th October
- On the Thursday following the production students can arrive at school at 8:45am OR 11:00am if your child needs an extra sleep. We ask that students arrive at only either of these times to minimise disruptions to the office and classrooms please.
We look forward to seeing all our families at the production and thank you for your continued support.
