Athletics Update
Last Saturday was The King’s School and St Patrick’s College’s Athletics Invitational at Sydney Olympic Park in the last invitational before the ISA Carnival. In what was a fantastic day many boys ran personal bests, which demonstrated all the hard work they have been putting in throughout the Athletics Season.

Well done to all boys who represented SPC and a huge thank you to all the amazing staff that assisted throughout the day.
ISA Athletics Carnival
Tuesday saw the entire Athletics Squad go out to Sydney Olympic Park once again to compete in the ISA Athletics Carnival. SPC were running the Hurdles Event in the morning, while we had no students competing in this, it was fantastic to see so many boys helping out, lead by Mr Angelatos, in what was described by many as the smoothest run event of the day.
While SPC were not strong enough to place overall, the effort and school pride was second to none. There were many highlights including Isaac Joseph winning his 100m, Luke Fang winning his 100m, Christian Harada running an 11.78 in the 100m, Jack Taylor winning the 400m and SPC winning the 12-14, 4 x 100m relay.
Well done to all involved and a huge thank you to Athletics Captain Nathan Campbell and Vice-Captain Xavier Caristo for their leadership throughout the season, and to all of the coaches, as well as Athletics MIC Mrs Simms for managing all the ‘behind the scenes’ work to organise the season.
13As Rugby Union
On Sunday 15 September, the 13As Rugby Team played an exhibition match against the NSWPSSA U12 team. The game took place at the NSW Waratahs training ground at Daceyville. After a successful and undefeated 2024 season, it was only fitting that this group of impressive players were invited to take part in the match. The 13As capped off a wonderful season with an impressive display of rugby in extremely windy conditions! Well done to the boys for representing St Patrick’s with great pride in the rugby arena.
