Hello, from PE

Basketball

Last week we had 16 students represent our school at the Divisional Basketball Tournament. Students participated in 6 games throughout the day against other schools in the Bendigo Region. Our students worked hard all day and continued to improve our skills against some tough opposition. Well done to all the students who attended and represented our school.

Swimming

Week 1 - 7th-11th of October

As part of the Physical Education program at Bendigo Violet Street Primary School, ALL students will be participating in a Swimming & Water Safety Program at the Peter Krenz YMCA Leisure Centre. Students will participate in 5, 40-minute sessions.

This year our swimming program will take place in WEEK 1 of Term 4. Students will need to bring bathers and a towel everyday during the first week of next term. More information and permission will be sent via Sentral.

Bike Education

During Term 4 during PE sessions we will be running some bike education sessions for our Grade 3-6 students. Please start preparing your bikes in readiness for next term. We do have some school bikes and helmets for students to use if they are not able to bring one. Keep an eye out in upcoming newsletters for the dates bikes will be needed.

Sentral

Please remember, all permission notes and information for any PE events will be on Sentral. Please make sure you are checking regularly so your child has permission to attend events.
