Year 8 Update

Excellent work and appreciation 

In our most recent Chapel, the students looked further than their common thank yous and wrote letters of gratitude to a teacher they appreciate. It was a lovely reflection activity, and I hope the students continue their gratitude letters in the future. 

The Parliamentarians ran an excellent wellbeing session which included a baby photos quiz and a game of dodgeball. Thank you to the students for their active participation and to Indianna W and Isabella S for organising the activities. 

Recently the Year 8 students participated in the Prime Minister’s Annual Spelling Bee. Congratulations to Isabella S and Prisha S for advancing to the State Finals! 

We wish them the best of luck. A commendation is in order for Jessica B for ranking third in the year level.
