Careers Update
Year 10 Work Experience
Our Year 10 students recently completed a week of work experience. Work experience can be a pivotal step in shaping a student’s future career and educational choices. It allows students to explore different career options and industries, it helps students develop essential skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management and gives a glimpse into the working world, helping students understand the expectations and dynamics of professional environments. This year students were placed in varied industries including allied health, education, law, animal care, fashion, local government and art and design. We received some outstanding feedback from many employers who were impressed by our students’ attitudes, approach to their work and their skills.
