Year 3 Zoo Excursion

On Friday the 23rd August, the Year 3 students visited the Melbourne Zoo. Students explored the different exhibits of animals that they had investigated in class.

Students attended a 45 minute session that was run by Melbourne Zoo staff. They learnt about the impact of seasonal change on an environment, how living things were connected to each other and the skills that would enable students to have a positive influence within their local community. They also looked at different birds and explored their habitats.

Students had a really fun and enjoyable day at Melbourne Zoo and learnt a lot!
