End of Term – A Reflection on Our Achievements
As we come to the end of another wonderful term, I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication. It has been a busy and rewarding time filled with so many memorable events and achievements. From celebrating NAIDOC Week and experiencing the excitement of Our Olympics Day with Kaboom Sports, to the creativity of Book Week, the fun of swimming lessons, the triumph of the soccer state finals, the joy of our concert, the faithfilled First Reconciliation, and the magic of the Grade 1/2 camp—we have had an incredible term!
We celebrate all these wonderful experiences that our students have had the opportunity to participate in, and it’s their enthusiasm and involvement that make these moments so special.
A very big thank you to the staff whose dedication makes all these events possible. Their commitment to providing these enriching experiences for our students is truly appreciated.
A reminder that tomorrow is the last day of term, and school will finish at 1 pm. I wish you all a wonderful holiday, filled with quality family time and relaxation.
Enjoy the break, and I look forward to seeing everyone refreshed next term.
More Concert Fun!
We couldn't resist sharing just a few more photos from the concert! It was such a special event filled with amazing performances and happy memories. Take a moment to enjoy these snapshots of the students’ talent and joy on stage.
Grade 1/ 2 Camp
Tonight, we are excited to host the Grade 1/2 Camp, a special event designed to give our younger students a fun and safe introduction to school camps. The evening kicks off with a sporting activity followed by an exciting incursion featuring a magician. After that, all students will enjoy a pizza dinner together.
At 7pm, Grade 1 students will head home, while Grade 2 students will continue the fun by watching a movie before settling down to sleep in their classrooms. This experience helps prepare them for the camps they will participate in from Grades 3 to 6.
It promises to be a memorable night filled with excitement and a sense of adventure!
St Bede's is a SunSmart School
At St Bede's, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of our students by promoting sun safety. As a SunSmart school, our policy encourages the following:
- Slap on a sun-protective hat:
All students and staff are required to wear hats that protect their face, neck, and ears (legionnaire, broad-brimmed, or bucket hats) whenever they are outside from mid-August to the end of April. Peak caps and visors are not considered a suitable alternative.
As the UV rating is on the rise, please ensure that your child brings their school hat every day to stay SunSmart!
MACSIS Surveys – Final Reminder
A reminder that the MACSIS survey portal closes tomorrow. If you received an invitation to participate, we kindly ask you to take a few moments to complete the survey. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us continue to improve our school.
Thank you for your time and input!
Confirmation Information
For families of Grade 6 students preparing for their Confirmation, please refer to the Religious Education page for important dates and details. These dates will help ensure you're informed and prepared for this special milestone.
Thank you for your attention to this important event.
