Division AFL 9's Day

 Warrnambool Division AFL 9’s Day

Our school’s AFL 9’s teams had a fantastic day at the Warrnambool Division competition. The boys’ team demonstrated remarkable skill and teamwork throughout the event, securing a fantastic and hard fought second place overall. Their impressive performance earned them a spot in the regional finals in Ballarat. The girls' team also put in a strong effort and finished third, narrowly missing out on advancing to the next stage. Both teams exhibited great sportsmanship and dedication, making us proud.

AFL 9’s Regional Finals in Ballarat

The boys’ team faced some extremely tough competition at the regional finals in Ballarat. Despite the challenges, they displayed exceptional sportsmanship, skill, and perseverance. After a tough start, they rallied to win their final two games, culminating in a solid 7th place finish in the region. Their performance was not only marked by their on-field abilities but also by their phenomenal display of our school values of inclusion, perseverance, respect, and kindness which drew compliments from other schools. Mr Burton’s standout moment of the day was when each player had the

kicked a goal for the team, showcasing our commitment to inclusivity.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the parents who travelled to support our teams and to Talia for her encouragement throughout the day. Your support is greatly appreciated and played a vital role in our teams' success.

Congratulations to both teams for their dedication and achievements!
