Our Grade 5/6 Volleyball Day on Monday was an incredible display of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship, highlighting our school values of inclusion, respect, perseverance, and kindness.
Our Grade 5 boys team showcased exceptional teamwork throughout the tournament. They reached the grand final and fought valiantly but narrowly missed out on victory. Their commitment to supporting each other and their collaborative spirit were truly commendable.
The Year 5 girls team demonstrated remarkable determination and skill. With each game, their performance improved, culminating in a well-deserved win. Their growth in confidence and ability was evident, reflecting their hard work and dedication.
The Year 6 girls team also made it to the final, where they showed impressive serving and unwavering perseverance. Although they fell short of victory, their effort and sportsmanship were exemplary.
Similarly, the Year 6 boys team reached the final, where they, too, narrowly missed out on the top spot. Their journey through the day was marked by increasing skill and confidence, and their perseverance was a key highlight.
A special thank you to our coaches, Mr. Gillies, Mrs. Aberline, Tiger, and Talia, for their guidance and support throughout the day.

The event was a fantastic demonstration of the spirit and values of WEPS.
