Student Wellbeing

A Big Welcome Back to Term 4!
Welcome back to Term 4! We hope the holidays brought your family a chance to rest, recharge, and enjoy some slower moments together. As we enter the final term of the year, there’s a wonderful sense of excitement in the air, end-of-year events, new beginnings for our Year 6 students and the joy of seeing how much our students have grown.
Among all the activity, it’s important to remember balance, making time to rest, laugh and connect as a family. Encouraging children to notice the little things they’re grateful for or to pause and breathe during busy days can make such a difference to their wellbeing.
Let’s make this final term one filled with kindness, celebration and connection, for our students, families and the St John’s community.
💛 R U OK? Day Everyday
Towards the end of last term, our school community came together to celebrate R U OK? Day, a day that reminds us all of the power of checking in and caring for one another. The school was glowing with splashes of yellow as students and staff embraced the theme and shared smiles, conversations and kindness throughout the day.
Our amazing Wellbeing Leaders went all out, helping spread the message that every day is a good day to ask, “R U OK?” Staff also enjoyed a special morning tea, creating time to connect, recharge and support one another. It was a beautiful reflection of the caring spirit that makes St John’s such a warm and connected community.
